Longs Park Amphitheatre

The Kalas Sylvin Foundation is proud to offer financial support to The Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation – devoted to enriching the quality of life in Lancaster County since 1962. For more than 50 years, the organization has offered the “Summer Music Series” for 13 weeks of the year at no cost to attendees! This outdoor concert series provides sought after live musical performances in a wide range of styles every weekend in the Summer. The musicians feature a diverse mix of rock and roll, folk, classical, Latin and rhythm & blues to attract attendees of all musical taste. Over the years the foundation has featured popular artists such as The Lone Bellow, Dawes, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and many more.

For the foundation to get the level of musicians and bands they desire to their beautiful outdoor location each week, it takes much financial donations and the help of over 200 volunteers to make a reality. Along with concerts, this foundation is the organization behind Lancaster’s yearly Labor Day Weekend Art Festival. This festival features artisans from over 30 states and draws over 10,000 visitors throughout the weekend and helps to subsidize the annual expense of the Summer Music Series.

We are thankful for the cultural enrichment The Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation brings to Lancaster county. Their commitment to making live music accessible benefits the entire surrounding community. Plan to join us during the 2017 Summer Music Series and consider purchasing a ticket to the Labor Day Weekend Arts Festival to help promote live music, support local artisans and enjoy the lovely outdoor setting of Long’s Park.
