During the approaching holiday season, we like to turn our funds toward organizations which directly impact the well being of our communities and the ability to celebrate the holiday through care.
We are grateful for the following three organizations and what they do to bring joy, nourishment and well-being to those in need this season:
- Horizons of Northern Lancaster County who care for the elderly populations in and around our communities.
- Lancaster Project for the Needy that will hand out an estimated 1,500 boxes of food on Christmas eve supplying a holiday meal to nearly 6,000 people.
- Denver & Ephrata Thanksgiving Day Dinner which is served out of the Ephrata Business Center on Thanksgiving feeding over 1,500 people a heartwarming meal.
In addition, we are joyfully able give to the following two organizations changing the quality of downtown Lancaster and its surrounding are:
- The Fulton Theater in Lancaster which continues to add cultural excellence and entertainment opportunities to our area that would otherwise not be possible.
- The Lancaster Early Education Center providing safe, secure, educational-based child care to working parents unable to provide this on their own while financially supporting their loved ones.
