This month we are highlighting another organization we recently supported who is making a positive impact on our community through this time: Lebanon VA Medical Center. Located near many of our Kalas family, the directly serve veteran in our community. The Medical Center has been helping veterans and their families for over 70 years and this year was especially meaningful as they supported the additional COVID-19 needs that affected those they care for. We chose to support in at this time because they have created and established an aggressive public health response to protect and care for veterans, their families, health care providers, and staff in the face of the pandemic and it’s risks to our community’s health. Their website is full of resources and quick responses for all who are in need of medical attention related to COVID-19.
We are grateful to share that a few of our Kalas associates have been serving the Lebanon VA Medical Center for years. They and their families would buy comfort items such as shaving needs and shampoos and create gifts to drop off to long-term care residents.
